Fleischmanns, NY welcomes you - the myriad challenges and inner workings of an upstate local government located in the Catskills Watershed adjacent to both the Bellayre Mountain Ski Center and New York State Forest Preserve Land.

 

 

Fleischmanns First is a community organization with the sole purpose of bringing about the enhancement of Fleischmanns, New York 12430. Fleischmanns First shall provide a community forum to build community consensus and work to fulfill the following visions:

 

  • Preservation and restoration of historical community assets
  • Economic redevelopment
  • Promotion of arts and cultural activities
  • Assist in comprehensive and community planning
  • Advocate for preservation and protection of the environment
  • Provide an effective means for people who want to volunteer their time to help the community prosper
  • Addressing current issues affecting the Fleischmanns area

 

Meetings are held on the first Saturday of the month at 9:30am at LaCabana Restaurant and the first Thursday following the first Saturday of the month at 6:00pm in the basement of the Fleischmanns Community Church.  All are welcome.  Membership is encouraged.
